Project Four: Multiples

For this project we had to create a 2' x 2' sculpture of something using multiples of an object. I had a lot of old cell phones and some old house phones lying around, so I decided to do that. I also asked my uncle for his old cells since he used to have this business they provided work phones for, that was tremendously helpful. My sisters even pitched in; those lovely ladies. Anyways, I built a phone tower (like a cell tower, it's punny, get it??). I put the oldest ones at the bottom and worked my way up from there. Rotary to Droid; an evolution of phones.

The craftsmanship could have been better I realize, but these phones had to be returned to their owners once I was finished. So I had to resort to electric tape instead of something as hidden as epoxy. For that I apologize. I made due with what I had, and I seriously rebuilt this thing like 3 or 4 times. Took maybe 2 hrs each time. Ridiculous.
